Co-operation Ireland is currently working with the Resurgam Community Development Trust as part of a Heritage Lottery Fund project.

We are working with young people from Resurgam Youth Initiative and being supported in our delivery by the Ulster Aviation Society, Hillsborough Historical Cultural and Arts Society and Belfast Exposed.

Our project will use a number of methods to explore the heritage of the Maze area, and will provide opportunities for young people to learn about their own local history, heritage and experiences.

Objectives

To provide relevant and suitable opportunities for young people to explore the heritage of the Maze Long Kesh site 

To raise awareness of the multi-layered heritage of the Maze Long Kesh site
