Co-operation Ireland Chairman Dr Christopher Moran arranged for a delegation from the Dublin Chamber of Commerce and Tourism Ireland to visit 10 Downing Street on Wednesday, September 11 to promote Anglo-Irish economic links.

Co-operation Ireland continues to help to further improve and facilitate strong relationships in and between Great Britain, the Republic of Ireland, and Northern Ireland.

Speaking after the visit, Dr Moran emphasised the importance of the organisation in peace building across the islands.

“Co-operation Ireland is focused on building relationships between Belfast, Dublin and London.  Strengthening economic ties forms a critical part of that work.

“I was very pleased to arrange the meeting in Downing Street with 25 business leaders who had travelled from the Irish capital, and for them to join in the important work of peace building as we look to the future.”
