Co-operation Ireland Chairman Dr Christopher Moran has congratulated the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the birth of their baby boy.

The Duke is patron of Co-operation Ireland’s Amazing the Space programme which brings together thousands of young people from across Northern Ireland and the border counties to pledge to work within their own communities to build peace.

The Royal Couple’s first official visit to Northern Ireland was to attend the 2018 Amazing the Space event at the Maze/Long Kesh site. Prince Harry visited Belfast in 2017 to officially launch the event.

Dr Moran said: "The royal couple lends tremendous support to young people across Northern Ireland through our Amazing the Space programme.  Co-operation Ireland wishes many congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the birth of their son."
