The Chairman of Co-operation Ireland Dr Christopher Moran is delighted to announce the appointment of Pat Farrell as a Director of Co-operation Ireland.

Pat served as General Secretary of Fianna Fáil between 1991 and 1997, he served as Chief Executive of the Irish Banking Federation in 2004 till 2013. He served as Head of Group Corporate Communications and Government Relations at The Bank of Ireland from 2013 to 2019. In 2019 he became Chief Executive of Irish Institutional Property.

Dr Christopher Moran said: “Pat’s long experience in the banking and property sectors will be of great to assistance to Co-operation Ireland in its mission, aims and objectives.”

Pat Farrell said: “I am very pleased to be joining the board of Co-operation Ireland and using my experience in the banking and property sectors to help Co-operation Ireland in the tasks that lie ahead. I have great admiration in the way Co-operation Ireland has performed its vital role through many difficult and troubled times. I look forward to helping this unique organisation moving forward.”
