Media

The Media Programme’s aim is to encourage journalists to examine how the media can contribute to a greater understanding of the peoples’ cultures and traditions, both at a national and international level. It seeks to improve the level of knowledge of both young journalists and those more experienced in the media world. Since 1999, the Media Programme has taken the form of an annual conference for 3rd level journalism students.  The conference’s venue generally rotates between Belfast and Dublin. The media conference is funded by OFMDFM.
