Italian Lakes Bike Ride

Based in Bellagio, famously known as the ‘Pearl of the Lake’, this beautiful town enjoys a magnificent setting on Lake Como. It is the most scenic area on the lake with superb views from the lakefront, a historical town centre and colourful terrace cafes and tree-lined promenade. This tour will take in 4 days of cycling approximately 100km per day through some of the most beautiful scenery around the Lakes and over the border into Switzerland. The route will take in the ‘Madonna del Ghisallo’ a famous climb close to Lake Como, named after a legendary apparition. This famous hill, with its spectacular views, has been the conclusive stage of two of the most renowned cycle races, the Giro d’Italia and the Giro di Lombardia. The area is perfect for cyclists with very little traffic on the roads, beautiful mountain scenery and rolling terrain. The 5 day tour package includes:

• Direct flights from Dublin to Milan departing from Dublin on Tuesday 21 September and returning on Sunday 26 September
• 5 nights accommodation with breakfast and evening meal based on triple sharing in a 3 star hotel in Bellagio
