Saturday Start and Sunday Finish at Queen's Sport, Upper Malone Road, BELFAST. Start time on Saturday between 07.30-08.00.
Saturday Finish and Sunday Start at Dublin City University. Start time on Sunday from 08.00-08.30.
The popular cross border bike ride, Maracycle, takes place over the weekend of 29 & 30 June. The 2 day 220 mile challenge between Belfast and Dublin remains a firm favourite with sporting enthusiasts and those looking to improve their fitness levels and take on a personal challenge in support of Co-operation Ireland and a host of other great causes. If you are not able for the full challenge you can take on one of the shorter distances from Belfast to Newry, Newry to Dublin, Dublin to Newry or Newry to Belfast or a one way only Belfast to Dublin or Dublin to Belfast. The Company Challenge gives you an opportunity to get together with some friends and colleagues and get your company involved. The highlight of the weekend will see cyclists from most counties in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland join with our overseas visitors at Dublin City University on the Saturday night for a celebration of their achievements.Maracycle was launched at the Irish Cycling Show held in Dublin mid March and information has now been sent out to leisure facilities, cycle shops and clubs round the country.
