21 Foyle Ambassadors from Derry~Londonderry and Donegal graduated recently after completing a 10 week programme. Co-operation Ireland co-ordinated the programme with funding from the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Loughs Agency.
Co-operation Ireland is honoured to be chosen as charity partner for the Gran Fondo Giro d’Italia Northern Ireland in 2016. This unique partnership offers Co-operation Ireland supporters to get involved in, what is likely to be, the largest ever bike ride to take place in Northern Ireland. The ride will be held on closed roads, similar to that which the professionals enjoyed in the Giro d’Italia which was held in Northern Ireland in 2014.

On 9 November 2015 the Taoiseach Enda Kenny announced Ireland’s first ever participation in The Lord Mayor’s Show in London. The historic pageant, which takes place on Saturday 14 November, celebrates its 800th anniversary this year. Half a million people will line the streets of central London to cheer on the parade and it will be watched on national television by millions more.
