Winnie has been employed with Co-operation Ireland since April 2001 working in fundraising and events. She is responsible for the management of many of Co-operation Ireland’s most visible corporate and public fundraising events.

Since 2001, Winnie has supported the Head of Fundraising in the management of the Events Programme. She has been involved in researching and developing events, recruitment of participants, procurement of facilities, services, supplies and equipment, promotion of events, design and producing of printed material, co-ordinating voluntary groups, preparing sponsorship proposals and managing budgets.

She has more than 15 years experience of organising events. Prior to Co-operation Ireland she worked with the Northern Ireland Athletics Federation, based at the Belfast City Council Mary Peters Track. Winnie was involved in the organisation of all the major international track and field fixtures held at the Mary Peters Track and with the World Cross Country Championships held in Belfast in 1999.

Winnie has been involved in the organisation of, and personally took on the fundraising and cycling challenge of, the Great Down Under Bike Ride in Australia in 2002, Biking USA in 2004 and Bike South Africa in 2006. She also completed the New York Marathon in 2007.
