Michelle began working with Co-operation Ireland in July 1996 and since that time has worked extensively with schools and community groups in the design and delivery of cross-border and cross-community programmes.
Michelle had a background in Psychology, having graduated in 1995 from Trinity College Dublin. She also has a Certificate in Youthwork from NUI Maynooth and is also trained in Mediation, Conflict Resolution, Facilitation and Groupwork. Previous work experience includes voluntary work with the ISPCC, Dublin Aids Alliance and a FAS Community Employment position with the Fountain Resource Group, James St. Dublin. This role was as a Childcare Assistant in the Tir na N-og Preschool for Traveller Children.
Originally from Co. Cavan, Michelle was based in Co-operation Ireland’s Dublin office until 2000 when she moved to Belfast where she has lived since.
