Lucy has worked for Co-operation Ireland since moving from the Special EU Programmes Body in 2005.
She is currently responsible for the implementation of the Department for Social Developments Modernisation Fund Capital Programme, a £15,000,000 Capital Build Programme for the Voluntary Sector. Her role is to ensure the effective delivery of the programme through the achievement of programme objectives and adherence to government funding regulations.
Prior to taking up the post as MFCP Co-ordinator, Lucy worked for Co-operation Ireland as an Administrative Officer, then Project Officer, working on the delivery of the Peace II and Interreg IIIA programmes and taking responsibility for the delivery of the Tyrone Donegal Partnership Small grants Scheme.
Lucy has a Post Graduate Diploma in Organisation and Management from Queens University, a MA in Medical Ethics from University of Leeds and a first Class BA in Philosophy and Anthropology from Queen’s University.
