Carolyne has worked with Co-operation Ireland since 2001.

In her role she has been responsible for the provision of development assistance to a variety of sectors including economic & cocial development, community and voluntary sector and the education/training sectors. She has worked closely with SMEs, Local Enterprise Agencies, County Enterprise Boards, education providers and community & voluntary groups

She is involved in the assessing and management of capital and revenue grant applications. Her assessment experience includes liaising with external consultants regarding project business plans and economic appraisals, and preparing recommendation reports for projects seeking funding funding detailing outputs, outcomes, milestones, conditions, recommendations and costings.

She has experience of financial and non-financial monitoring, evaluation of projects ensuring compliance and providing project development advice and support.

Other responsibilities involve networking with other funding agencies (EU and non-EU funded programmes), and also liaising and consulting with relevant agencies and projects on policy and strategy issues.

Carolyne is also on the steering committee of a range of cross-border projects with both a social and economic focusproviding funding and monitoring advice,
