Research & Development
Our Research and Development work aims firstly to enable Co-operation Ireland to act as an effective voice influencing policymaking, North and South, on all issues that affect the prospect of consolidating peace and building good relations. It is geared towards political representatives and other key stakeholders such as NGOs, church groups, businesses, academics and the voluntary and community sector.
Secondly, through consistent evaluation of our programmes and those we assist under the PEACE II and INTERREG IIIA Programmes, Co-operation Ireland is working to build models of best practice for cross-border, peace-building projects. This work will be aimed at policy makers, funders and other peace-building organisations in Ireland, North and South, and further afield.
